About this webinar
Selective colleges see thousands of applicants with excellent grades, rigorous courses and impressive activities. Yet some applications stay with admissions officers long after they’ve finished reading them. In this panel discussion, we will unpack what makes a student memorable and how seemingly separate pieces of an application can come together to create a distinctive picture of who that student is.
Families will learn:
- What admissions officers notice beyond grades and test scores
- How intellectual interests, activities and personal qualities shape an applicant’s profile
- Why depth and consistency can matter more than simply doing more
- How essays and recommendations reveal qualities that aren’t visible elsewhere
- What makes an application feel cohesive, authentic and memorable
