About this webinar
With early application deadlines approaching, small mistakes can have outsized consequences. AcceptU co-founders Marc Zawel and Stephen Friedfeld will share seven of the most common problems they see in college applications and what students can do before hitting submit.
The second half of the session will be open Q&A, with families invited to bring questions about essays, school lists, deadlines and application strategy.
Families will learn:
- Common mistakes that can weaken an otherwise strong application
- What students often overlook in essays and activity descriptions
- How to make sure an application tells a clear, cohesive story
- What deserves one final look before submission
- How to avoid last-minute decisions that can create unnecessary risk
